Soul Detox

 You were taught not to live the way you used to. You must get rid of your old way of life. That’s because it has been made impure by the desire for things that lead you astray. You were taught to be made new in your thinking. You were taught to start living a new life. It is created to be truly good and holy, just as God is. Ephesians 4:22-24

God is saying to His people, " You say you believe in me, but do you trust me? Have I not provided for my children since the beginning? Yet and still you turn away from me and to this world to provide for you in ways that it isn't equip to. This world is inadequate and does not measure up to my capabilities. Yet and still you put your trust in this temporary place. You love this world more than me. You cherish the opinion of this world above that of my father. More than angry I am disappointed, I am hurt. It pains me to see my children living in such desuetude. I was chosen to bear the cross. I was chosen to pay the price of death for the sins of the world. But my children, given the freedom of will have made a conscious choice to live comfortably in the sins in which they have been redeemed of. I could no longer sit back and watch my children be torn apart. I could no longer watch silently as Satan clenched his hand around their hearts and planted himself in their minds and merging their spirits with that of his own. My children, it is I who is calling out to you. I can no longer sit in tolerance of the lives you live and decisions you make. Do not be fooled, what you are currently facing is intended to awaken your spirit. Your spirit has been dead for far too long. I cursed this realm long ago, but those who live by my word are protected by my grace. Have I not continued to grant new mercies each and everyday? Does my power still continue to heal? Do I not still provide for you, creating pathways in the thickens of heartache and despair? Children please listen to me. Please act on the opportunity to reset and renew. This is not an attack on the physical being. This is not meant to send you into a state of mental desolation and financial despair. But instead seek my face and all things will be given unto you. I am purging the souls of the ones I hold dear. I am detoxing the spirit of the worldly filth it has ingested. Do not sit in the midst of panic and be paralyzed by fear. Come to me. Fall before me and be covered by my favor. Let my spirit settle inside of you and feel the peace that overcomes you. The gift of joy I give to all of those who sit at my feet. Be made pure in your thinking and be unleashed from the shackles of confusion. My children, respond to me . I am waiting to answer you."

From prison Paul wrote to the Christians in Ephesus. Imprisoned in Rome, awaiting his trial Paul writes at length a letter to his fellow Christians to live a life worthy of Jesus. Are we not in a similar state of confinement? What are we doing with each day that passes? Our days are not meant to perch in front of the television watching as cases overtake cities and the death toll rises. We've been given the opportunity to rest in the presence of our Father, ushering in His spirit and being encouraged by what He has already done. The moment we accepted Christ into our hearts we were to no longer live as this world does. We are to be unmoved by the enemy and his tactics. But by the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father capture souls and rescue them from the hands of the enemy. Our current climate can easily distract us from our assignment and deceive us into believing we are powerless. But with the wisdom that rests inside of us through the Holy Spirit we know that this attack is not merely physical. Beyond the surface of our mental and financial health lies a dormant spirit waiting to be awakened and refreshed. Be encouraged to live the new life God gifted us after He died on the cross. We have been afforded a reset, so allow your spirit rise just as Jesus did on the third day. He waiting for us to say, "Yes Lord, have your way. Do what only you can Father. " We may have strayed from God but He has always been near to us. Make the decision to accept God's decision to reset today and allow others to witness the greatness He births through you.
