Tea for your soul

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah."

Grace

Dear Lord,
I pray for every sister that is afraid to walk in your gracious light. I pray that whatever shadows are casting over her, you remove and let your light shine through her. Let her recognize that her dwelling place is in the favor of your kingdom. Allow her to reap fruit in dry places. May she seek you always no matter the circumstances in her life. Build in her a soul that is impenetrable to the weapons of this world.
Amen

Perseverance

Dear Lord,
I want to thank you. Thank you for every sister reading this publication. Lord, I want you to pour into her your power. A power that only you can provide. A power that allows her to push through to the other side of whatever circumstance she may be facing. Lord give her an “in spite of” strength, give her an open mind that she may be filled with wisdom as she walks through this experience. Lastly, Father grant her a heart filled with joy, for her soul knows the will of her life is anchored in your promises.
Amen

Greetings love! I pray that January brought you joy, blessings, opportunities and insight. I hope that our Father gave you a glimpse into the wonderful year He has destined for you. And if He hasn't, HE WILL. As we enter mid-way through the first quarter of the year, be sure to take some time and complete a self-assessment. How are you? Physically? Emotionally? Spiritually? Are you setting a foundation that allows God to work in you and through you? Are you watering the seeds of your character that they may bear fruit during harvest season? All of these things are important for we were created by the Master not just to live, but produce LIFE! Just something to think about.

I am so excited about the month of February. This month is Black History Month. Although I believe in celebrating black history all year long, this is the time of the year where we as a culture unapologetically celebrate being bold, beautiful and black and the rest of the world is invited to join in the celebration. February also brings us Valentine's Day. A day dedicated to love. So this month I decided to express my love for you through the creation of "1 LOV3". 1 LOV3 is a 7-day devotional navigating 1 Corinthians 13, better known as the "Love Chapter". It will dissect the passage written by the apostle Paul to the people of Corinth. I'm sure that most you have read, heard or studied this chapter at some point during your Christian journey. It's a beautiful passage meant to challenge our current perspective of love and inspire us to love as God does. The devotional will be released February 10 through February 16th. I am so excited to share with you the word that our Father has given me. So check back soon and encourage your sisters (and brothers) to subscribe to TWMK for Frebruary's brew!

Peace and Love
